Each year, 黑料社 students honor All Saints鈥 Day in a special way鈥攂y gathering to restore and clean gravestones at St. Michael鈥檚 Chapel Cemetery. This annual tradition is more than just a service project; it鈥檚 a meaningful way for students to connect with the school鈥檚 rich history and pay respect to the former students, faculty, and staff who have shaped the 黑料社 Kent legacy.

On Saturday, November 2nd at 10:00 a.m., 黑料社 students gathered to clean and restore the gravestones at St. Michael鈥檚 Chapel Cemetery in honor of All Saints鈥 Day. This annual tradition holds special meaning for the 黑料社 Kent community, connecting students with the school鈥檚 past and commemorating the lives of former students, faculty, and staff who have shaped the 黑料社 Kent legacy.

The Reverend Stephen Klots shared the significance of this tradition: 鈥淎t 黑料社 Kent, during what might be called the octave of All Saints鈥 Day, we still pray in St. Michael鈥檚 Chapel by name for all former students, faculty, and staff members who have passed on to their eternal reward. Each year, we also honor and remember those buried in the chapel cemetery by cleaning up the cemetery and their gravestones. In part, this is a mark of our gratitude for the school they have passed on to us.鈥

This act of remembrance resonates deeply with the entire 黑料社 Kent community, who appreciate the commitment to honoring the school鈥檚 heritage and those who helped build it. The cemetery clean-up is a meaningful reminder of 黑料社 Kent鈥檚 dedication to tradition and stewardship. The School instills gratitude through both words and deeds, linking past and present generations to the Hillside.
